Recently watched: Fargo (the show, not the movie). I’ve developed a new appreciation for Martin Freeman beyond him being a wonderful Bilbo Baggins and an awesome Watson to Benedict Cumberbatch’s Sherlock. Mostly because of his gosh darn nice Minnesota accent.

Recently discovered: That Liam Neeson was 61 when he reinvented himself as an action star. 6-freakin-1. God help me, but that man looks good.

Recently agonized over: Why my brain doesn’t just snap back into normal operating mode and why it insists on lingering in do-nothing-vacation-mode and making me feel like a dimwit.

Currently listening to: The Hollies’ “Long Cool Woman (In a Black Dress)” and gettin’ my groove on! (And remembering that this also soundtracked the adorable team bonding video montage in Remember the Titans, which further reminds me that I need to watch that movie again because I’m a sucker for inspirational sports films about sports that I don’t actually understand.)

Currently wondering: If anyone else knows that Opie in Sons of Anarchy is also Gary Bertier in Remember the Titans, or IF I JUST TOTALLY BLEW YOUR MIND JUST NOW.

Recently watched: The first episode of Parks and Recreation. I know, I know. It’s sort of blasphemous that I’m only starting to watch this show now, but that’s how large of a rock I’m living under, folks. I also had no idea who Macklemore was for the longest time, so you really can’t expect much from me by way of pop culture knowledge.

Recently discovered: Money. In an old jacket. I FEEL LIKE A MILLIONAIRE.

Recently agonized over: The fact that the only thing close to a milk shake I’ve had in the past two weeks was a frosty from Wendy’s. Something must be done…
